SOLUTIONS FOR SAFER COMMUTING: A STREET SMARTS SCPD EVENT NOV. 16

Santa Cruz Police Traffic Department

Our new Police Chief  Andy Mills invites you to a Street Smarts traffic safety presentation on Thursday, November 16, at the Santa Cruz Police Community Room from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Chief Mills

This Street Smarts presentation will be delivered by Traffic Sergeant Scott Garner, a 20-year SCPD veteran officer and traffic expert. He will highlight traffic safety issues and solutions for safer commuting with strategies to create a more reliable traffic environment for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers. The event is a community-driven approach to traffic safety education.

Following the presentation, Sergeant Garner will answer questions. The meeting is an opportunity to listen to your concerns and respond on the spot— a first step to remedying traffic safety issues in our neighborhoods.
