Inside the newest hotspot in town, Hotel Paradox is Solaire Restaurant. This stunningly decorated restaurant has a casual, small-plate approach to dining with an emphasis on quality product from sustainable resources including local growers, farmers, vintners, and brewers.
We arrived for our first dining experience during lunch hours and ordered an Original Soju cocktail. It was a Bubble Berry Soju blend with lemon, pomegranate, and hibiscus, accentuated with a delicious berry that floated atop. This cocktail was so refreshing and enjoyable, I ended up ordering two!
Of course we had to order an appetizer, and although it was hard to choose, we went with the Crab Firecrackers. It was the right choice. This dish was served with Asian herbs and a ginger dipping sauce. It was simply wonderful!
The main course similarly did not disappoint. We ordered a burger and it was enormous. It came served on a brioche bun with tender quality house ground beef. If you consider yourself a burger enthusiast, this is the burger for you! And it is definitely worth mentioning that you can customize your burger; making it a real exclusively exciting experience.
We recommend trying the Local Sand Dabs with heirloom tomatoes, wild arugula field capers, and grana padano. This dish was quite tender and absolutely delightful.
Right outside the bar / restaurant is the hotel pool. If you prefer to be outside to enjoy a drink, there is a fire place with seating and Las Vegas style cabanas for those who desire a cozier environment.
We surely will be back to revel in some more delicious food and drink. You must check out Solaire soon and join us!
