Snacking the Night Away at Taste Of Santa Cruz, 2014

Cocoanut Grove, Thursday, Nov 13 was absolutely the place and time to be for all things delicious in Santa Cruz County. The event was hosted to benefit Santa Cruz County Association of Realtors Housing Foundation. Several booths were present representing local realtors. Each booth was packed full of people cooking and serving samples of sliders, lobster bisque, deserts, hors d’oeuvres, even more food, and lots of smiles. Music was provided by Jack Crawford, owner of Music Now.

The scene was filled with socializing, flapper dresses, and representatives from the Santa Cruz Derby Girls skating by while selling raffle tickets. Did we mention the raffle? $10 could win a family trip to Disneyland, a cruise on the Chardonnay II, San Francisco Giants tickets, a GoPro, the ultimate beach cruiser and several other big prizes. Five dollars won wine, gardening tools, dinner and a movie, SUP board lessons… the list just went on!

The goal of Santa Cruz Association of Realtors Housing Foundation is to “Bridge the Gap to Homeownership.” Fundraising via A Taste of Santa Cruz started in 2005.

Food was provided by several restaurants, wineries, and caterers including The True Olive Connection , The Kitchen , Affordable Chef Services, Aldo’s Harbor Restaurant, burger, The Crow’s Nest, Trout Gulch Vineyards and many, many more.
