Hundreds of people gathered at San Lorenzo Park in Downtown Santa Cruz to enjoy gourmet tacos, award-winning margaritas, and live music.
It was a festive atmosphere as people danced to several live bands including salsa, rock, samba, and more.
On Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. guests were able to sample top-shelf tequila and try colorful, creatively made margaritas. Every flavor of margarita you could imagine made an appearance at the festival, such as: Mango, pomegranate, jalapeño, and strawberry. There was also craft beer on hand for the beer lovers.
The two-day event was held all day Saturday, Aug. 26, and Sunday, Aug. 27. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect for sipping tequila and eating delicious tacos with friends!
Proceeds from the festival go to The Gen Giammanco Foundation, a scholarship for student athletes in high school and middle school.
